Monogram Christmas Ornaments

I am so excited to have added new monogram Christmas ornaments this year! Best thing about these, is that they are the same size as my monogram key chains and with a simple switch from a ribbon to a key chain ring, it's two gifts in one.

Ps... I LOVE TWO GIFTS IN ONE!!!

These are great for all types of monogram lovers:
  • Teenagers
  • Teachers
  • Friends
  • Neighbors
  • Parents
  • Sisters
...and the list goes on!

The monogram Christmas ornaments are 3" acrylic, laser cut pieces and are available in 4 colors:
  • Red
  • White
  • Black
  • Mirror
There are also several design styles available.  Which is your favorite?

Love . Laughter & Happily Ever After

I know I have said this so many times but I really do LOVE custom requests.  This one was requested to me by a local friend who is adding the finishing touches to her new home and asked me for some wall decal decor assistance.

A Place For Everything...

...and everything in it's place.

I am still working towards my goal of being completely organized. Yesterday, I saw this great pin on Pinterest and adding to my project list to help me on my organization mission.

Here is my own take on the project... with decals of course!

I took a solid black bucket, a chevron pattern decal I cut and the word MAIL, also a decal I cut.  Before I go any further, let me first tell you that the most difficult part of this project was selected the font for the word MAIL.

I added the chevron pattern decal first...

Then added the MAIL decal...

 ... and viola!!!

I think it makes a nice touch... what do you think?

{Real Event} "Color Me Happy" Birthday

It all started with a scribble...

I asked my (then) 2 year old what kind of birthday she wanted to have this year.  She told me she wanted to color and have her friends color too.  I looked up coloring theme parties but nothing really jumped out at am.  So I turned to the birthday girl and asked her, "what kind of coloring party" to try to narrow it down.  She said like this and ran off to get a crayon and piece of paper and began to draw.  I knew just what to do after that...

I gave her some cardstock and a Sharpie marker and let her do some drawing...

I took the drawings she made, scanned them and then turned into graphic files... which I then turned into decals.

I covered an area in butcher paper as the white canvas backing.  I bought a huge roll so she can continue to use it for coloring.

This sign in book is just like the one I made last year for Mya's birthday but with this year's theme. I used decals and my printables to make it.

AshleyandGary Kennedy of Kennedy Kakes baked the yummy cake, cookie pops, cake pops and cake push pops!

I found this yummy treat on Pinterest and just used rainbow dot sprinkles to add color to them.

I made a cartoon version of Mya that I added to her favors and things.

Rainbow fruits & veggies to balance some of the sweets

And here she is with the matching outfit I made for her.  Making that skirt may have been the most difficult part of this entire party.

At the park...

My neighbor, owner of Who Baby Who, made colorful tissue paper pom poms to decorate with.  This is the coloring table with coloring pages of her cartoon self to color.

I added the scribble decals to just about everything

My very creative friend, Robin, of Heartmade by Hand made these awesome paint chip notebooks as part of the favors.

MOPs... Mother's Of Preschoolers

When I first told my husband I was joining MOPs, he asked me if it was some kind of cleaning group.  Until the day I went to a yard sale and a MOPs mom shared what it really was with me, I had no idea either... and quite honestly, may have thought the same thing as my husband.

Now that I have been a part of MOPs for a couple of years, I actually learned that it kind of is like a cleaning group... we just cleanse the soul and mind.  We help other moms learn how to be better moms, stronger moms, smarter moms.

My MOPs Murray Hill group has helped me several times in the past "clean" up a mental mess I was in by helping me relax, praying with me... and for me.

Our MOPs Murray Hill group has been so blessed with wonderful, loving caregivers in our nursery so that we are able to meet in peace (with the children in another room).  This year we decided to give our caregivers a gift that we hope will help them during these hot summers months and future months to come after those.

{Real Event} Tea Party Birthday

Recently I got to help one of my good friends Ashley, owner of Kennedy Kakes, to design and decorate for her daughter's 3 birthday... the tea party birthday.  The event was held in the fern garden of Flair Wedding & Events / Fair Celebrations.

Ashley, being the creative baker she is and me, being the creative designer I am, made a great team!  I designed all of the party printables, created a custom banner and of course, added some decals.

The dessert table was complete with a fabulous custom flower cake, cake pops, cake push pops, cookie pops and sweet candy.  I made the cake banner / bunting and the food tent cards.

Up close view of the cake detail and cake banner / bunting. See what I mean... We made a great team!

I added decals with each of the children's names to the tea cups.

I absolute LOVE the banner I made for her.  It is glitter cardstock with burlap.  The picture does not show all of the details... it was so beautiful sparkling in the sunlight.

2012 Time Capsule

My good friend Ashley, of Let Them Eat Cakes Bakery, texted me recently asking for a custom decal for a paint can she bought to turn into a time capsule.  Of course I was excited to help but even more excited with the wonderful idea.  I mentioned going and getting a paint can and doing the same... her response, "I already got you one!"

So here they are...

I will have to add that text conversation to my family's time capsule so we remember how a good friend got us started on this new tradition.

{Vendor Feature} JAX Couture Events

A few months ago, I had the pleasure to meet Hilda of JAX Couture Events.  She contacted me for a custom logo decal for her new venue located in the Riverside area of Jacksonville, Florida.  JAX Couture Events is an event planning company specializing in event decor for package and custom parties and events... with some NEW excited things coming soon!

(Custom logo wall decal I made for the venue)

Her venue is a two story "home" with each room accessible for the events including a kitchen, dining area, buffet area, living room, photo studio and two other rooms.  It is located near the center of Jacksonville which makes it easy to get to from all sides of town. The venue is PERFECT for children's parties, a ladies night out get-to-together (which she just hosted last night), brunch, bridal and baby showers and so many other events. JAX Couture Events offers much more than I can mention so be sure to visit their Facebook page for current events and news.

In the beginning, talking to her about some of her future project ideas really peeked my interest.  I remember thinking to myself, "this lady is going to be a lot of FUN to work with."  Brainstorming with Hilda is great... she is very smart and creative. The more I get to work with her on projects, the more excited I get to see what will come next... and the more I get to know her, the more blessed I have felt to have such awesome people in my life.

(QR Code decal I made for the venue front door..

Ode to the Military : II

Back in October I posted my new military decals that were inspired by my very dear friend Robin.  Well it's about that time... he is almost here and she is getting everything ready from his homecoming celebration.  She came by this morning for a custom car decal for when she goes to pick him up...

I am so happy for this happy family's homecoming...

Project : 4 of : 23

I am really knocking out projects with my project of projects, Project :: 23

Who would have thought that me posting this idea on my blog would keep me so motivated.  Maybe I should start posting all my to-do list type stuff on here.

Today I knocked out Project 4... although I have been working on it for several days here and there.  I am planning on turning a wall in one of my hallways into a mini museum with my children's artwork. My son is now 13 and I have a large storage container filled with his toddler - kindergarten artwork.  My 2 year daughter is also a little artist.

One thing I thought about adding to the museum wall was some information about them. I decided to make a "stat plaque" for each of them...

So without further adieu, Project : 4 of : 23
